Now the Appointment letter, Visa application form and checklist issued are to be submitted to VFS prior to the Interview and only then the Visa is issued. Only thing one needs to keep in mind is that applications need to be submitted with one recent photograph and supporting documents. Once the Visa is approved, one can get the passports back through courier or direct from the counter, but not vice-versa: one can no longer send the documents through courier. They must be presented at the Consul counter in person, however, any friend or relative can submit these. Also what needs to be kept in mind is that there should not be any issues with the photograph or any missing particulars in the form, if there are any, the applicant needs to be present otherwise the application stands null and void.
